NIC Chile announces fee adjustments beginning at 12:00am, (CLST) on November 1st, 2023. This affects domain registrations, renewals, transferences and restorations and will have an annual price of $9.990. In addition, the fee for a revocation request will now be $46.000.

Because of the rate adjustment implemented on July 1, 2022, cumulative inflation has reached a level that significantly impacts NIC Chile's investment and operation costs.

On the other hand, on October 25 of this year the Chilean Internal Taxation Service (SII in Spanish), issued the Ordinance No. 2714 determining that sales and services in which the University of Chile acts as the selling party, will be exempt from VAT. These new rates are the result of the application of both factors.
